To bring a healthy child into this world, raise them right and watch them grow is the biggest miracle there is.

I didn’t start sweating until I had children. That was one of the first things I realized when my daughter Violet was born – I started getting wicked BO. You know there’s a difference between basketball BO and stress BO? This was definitely stress BO. Like, new dad BO.

Because I am a mother, I am capable of being shocked: as I never was when I was not one.

I have a very good family. I’m very fortunate to have a very good family. I believe very strongly in the family. It’s one of the things we have in our platform, is to talk about it.

There is no such thing as fun for the whole family.

All parents are concerned about their children’s well-being. As a parent of three kids, I’m very concerned about their well-being.

My daughter doesn’t even get my humor. She’s like, ‚Um, no. I don’t get it, Dad. Mmm, no, not that one, Dad.‘

The name Zahra was to have been lman’s own name at birth, but a senior member of the family changed it to lman at the last minute.

My mother was determined to make us independent. When I was four years old, she stopped the car a few miles from our house and made me find my own way home across the fields. I got hopelessly lost.

My enthusiasm seems to cause my world to endlessly offer me cooperative, co-creating experiences. I’m willing and I’m eager, and not just about my writing – I feel the same way about staying in shape, enjoying my family, giving a lecture, or whatever it may be.

Children wish fathers looked but with their eyes; fathers that children with their judgment looked; and either may be wrong.

I always wanted a family.

If I walked into the kitchen without washing my hands as a kid, I’d hear a loud ‚A-hem!‘ from my mother or grandmother. Now I count on other people to do the same.

The way I try to represent my family and coaches, I think all are characteristics the league aspires to portray. That’s just who I am.

Feels good to try, but playing a father, I’m getting a little older. I see now that I’m taking it more serious and I do want that lifestyle.

It is totally different making films in the East than in the West. In the East, I make my own Jackie Chan films, and it’s like my family. I do not think that I am a natural born mother… If I ever wanted to mother anyone, it was my father.
